Voices of Color presents the message well and the presentation works! I conduct Diversity trainings throughout the country and I believe Dr. Cheryl Greene is on the right track in making a difference in not just students lives, but all who experience the web site. "Through the mouths of babes," sometimes allows us to take "it" in with less defensiveness, permitting the heart and mind to be penetrated more subtlety. Great work! I appreciate the time Cheryl has spent on such an important issue.

I think Voices of Color is very impressive, touching the conscience of most audiences inside. I think sometimes those deep-rooted biases need more communications and understanding to eradicate them. In general, it is a video that provokes thoughts and reconsideration of our every day life.

Educators talk about students all day long. How often do we actually talk with students? How often do we get beyond the horrible question of "How is school going?" Voices of Color reminds us how important it is to listen to students' voices and adjust our practices based on what we learn. Watching this video will deepen your understanding of students of color and provoke you to begin a meaningful dialogue with your own students.
